The Donors' Association for the Promotion of Humanities and Sciences in Germany (Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft) recently awarded Söll with the seal of approval "innovative through research" (Gütesiegel „Innovativ durch Forschung“) for its efforts in research. The award was based on a survey on research and development in companies. Söll submitted data on expenditure, projects and employees in the research department as well as business performance indicators.

For more than 20 years, the company based in Hof has maintained an in-house laboratory where scientifically qualified staff continually develop products for water care in ponds, aquariums, pools and fountains. The main objective here is the attainment of best possible ecological compatibility.

Information about the Donor's Association

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF), the donor's association regularly collects information on research and development activities in German companies. The survey is part of the official EU Community Statistics and is included in national and international reporting systems. In 2016, Söll participated in this survey for the first time.
